A Prophetic Warning And a Call to Action 

Nine years ago, I received a very clear call from the Lord, to remind people how He had delivered this nation from invasion during the Second World War when they turned to Him in humble repentance.

A total of Seven National Days of Prayer were held at various crisis points during the War, and He answered each one by altering the natural sequence of events which had been unfolding. One example was the miracle of the flat calm sea which occurred right after the first National Day of Prayer and which lasted for the length of time needed to rescue 335,000 Allied soldiers from Dunkirk. The Channel became like a mill pond. Such a calm hadn’t been seen for a generation and the length of duration, precise timing and intensity, explains why it is called The Miracle of Dunkirk.

About two weeks after the invasion of Ukraine in 2022 the importance of teaching people about these deliverances was further emphasised to me.  As I was looking out of my study window reflecting on the invasion, I began to pray in the silence of my heart; “Lord is there anything more that I should be doing?” I didn’t even get to the end of that question. Instantly, like a flash of lightning - which is the only way I can describe it - the words vividly flashed across my inner vision…“Get the video out”.

Only God

There can only be one reason for the urgency of this task; that at some point in the not-too-distant future this nation will face an existential crisis of such magnitude only Divine intervention will be able to save us. Just as Britain was alone at the time of the Dunkirk crisis, this Nation will be alone again, without any human help available; only Divine help. It is a prophetic warning of the gravest nature.

And this is exactly how events are now unfolding before our very eyes. As a nation, we can no longer defend ourselves, feed ourselves or fuel ourselves and most of all, NATO, the long-time defender of Western Europe, is in crisis as it loses American support.  

In a recent interview on Revelation TV, I warned that the people of this country will someday have to choose between slavery under a dictator or freedom by repenting and turning back to the Living God of the Bible who delivered the Nation in the past.  Whenever I am invited to speak, I deliver this message and also remind people that it was the Christian God of the Bible who delivered Britain, not Allah, Buddha, witchcraft, or the gods of Hinduism.  Tragically, just like Demas of old who abandoned St Paul because “he loved this present world”, so Britain has forsaken the God of her salvation.

Speaking out

From every pulpit in the land there should be sermons about these Seven National Days of Prayer, showing how God answered those prayers; as well as teaching that God has the power to deliver us yet again - but that this is dependent on us turning back to Him in humility and repentance. There should be! Instead, from many pulpits there is nothing but silence on these matters. Many who contact Strengthen the Faithful tell us that they never hear sermons about deliverances, the need for national repentance (and very rarely about the Holiness of God, the Second Coming or teaching about Israel in Bible prophecy.)

Boldly informing people on how God delivered this nation in the past is, however, essential. If this truth is not proclaimed by churches in this present hour, it means that when this nation faces existential crisis in the future, people will wrongly assume that they have no alternative but surrender, rather than repent and turn to Almighty God for help and intervention. So, what must be done?

Deafening silence from the pulpit is now ‘A Trumpet Call to Action’ for believers at the grassroots. Scripture teaches the priesthood of all believers, so on the authority of the Word of God, when shepherds fail to sound the alarm, it becomes the duty of ordinary believers to do so.

Now is the time for faithful Christians across Britain (and Ireland) to actively share how Almighty God delivered this Country from invasion in answer to national repentance. As the Lord said to St Paul, “Do not be afraid but speak, and do not keep silent.” (Acts 18:9)
